After Party >>> Victoria Sweet Pastry

Last Friday was a nice day for me...I went shopping with my bestie Meng Ju and Joanne to shop for Shelyn's  birthday present. Shelyn Ooi is my friend since high school and I'm glad that she became so successful in her life.  She is one of the Malaysia Hottest Bloggger. You can visit her blog Shelynated to give her support. Ok...so we went to Gurney Plaza, First Avenue to have our girls shopping. I felt so happy hanging out with them... we have been so long never shopping together and that day we really have a lot of chit chat. Then I brought them to the most CHEAP vegetarian shop which located at Kuantan Road in Penang. The dishes are 3 Vegetables + 1 rice and is only cost RM2!!! You can choose any 3 vegetables that you like and all the food are tasty. RM2 for lunch and dinner are valuable cost!! The shop opens everyday.. too bad..I forgotten the time of their business hour... I will post about the shop next time :)

On that day, I had attended a rehearsal of The Oldies Song Singing Competition that organized by Kwang Hwa Yit Poh (Malaysia's local newspaper). This is the 19th years of this competition and I have participated as their backstage crew for 3 years already. And this time their final competition was held at USM (University Science Malaysia)  hall. All the Mayson Music Station members are the backstage crew as we have a good relationship with the organizer and they had contacted us to help them on the stage arrangements. I joined Mayson Music Station where I practice choir and vocal. I started singing when I was at primary school and my parents love to sing too. I can say that all my family members know to sing. Haha... :D Singing is the best thing I release my emotions and is a good way too relax yourself from pressure. Ok.. back on track.. then I brought Meng Ju there too as she was following me the whole day until we went to Shelyn's birthday party. We enjoyed listening to the participants singing oldies. The organizer has decorated the stage grandly and I hope that someday I would join their singing competition.. I love the feeling being on stage and I miss it so much!! 

Around 7.30, my boyfie came to fetch us from USM then we headed to Shelyn's birthday party.

As you noticed, I have changed my spectacles.  IS #Memore  brand. :D

After party, Joanne, Meng Ju, me and my boyfie went to Victoria Sweet Pastry to have our dessert. The environment of the shop is nice and comfortable. The cakes looks special and make me want to have a bite for each of the cake. Haha.. I know is impossible to try all the cakes and we have ordered their special recommended cake for this Halloween month.

This is the Pumpkin Tart. The fillings of this tart is full of creamy pumpkin and with a small bite of the tart .. you can feel that your mouth is like exploding of the pumpkin fillings..

Baked Lemon Cheese Cake... is a little bit sour but is still taste nice..

This is their specialty. Black Forest Ice-cream Charcoal Toast. OMG!! The charcoal toast is awesome with the ice cream and the plating was nice and attractive..is like a volcano has been exploded.

Mmmm,,,, YUMMY!! You need to order this and have a try!!

Hihi...Now I just realized that everyone has a big fake mask on their face to cover their inner true-self. Nono...haha..actually I knew it since long time ago..but this time I feel that it is very obvious and very fake...
Btw.. I hope that everyone should know what is appreciate. Appreciate what you've got and appreciate that every day you wake up, you still have the chance to breathe the fresh air... I know, we are not that rich or "famous" like YOU... but I would like to say that not only materialistic can fulfill your happiness.. only the person who made something from their own heart and these are the valuable ones to cherish forever...
Also...don't like down on people...it is a rude attitude and low down your standard... You don't know who they are and you just judge them by its cover.. you are wrong again!! Everyone has their own limitations and they keep it low profile.. BE HUMBLE but NOT FAKE!!! People will know it as they can feel it from the way you talk and body language...Bear in mind my friends.. :) Have a Nice Day....

Tea time at Tong Pak Fu with family

Rainy day everyday...Rain didn't stop once yesterday. :((

Actually I hate rainy days..makes people think about old memories and sad moments...

But I had a great tea-time with my family, although simple but full of love.

So, we decided to spend our tea-time at "Tong Pak Fu 糖百府" which famous with delicious desserts.

They also have discount 5% for those customers who have student card. 

Tong Pak Fu has many branches in Penang, I went to the nearest one to my house at Burma Road. Just opposite The Malaysia Buddhist Association 马佛总会 building. 

So here are the pictures that we have ordered. 

BLACK SESAME GLUTINOUS RICE BALL RM5.80
Sweet ginger soup and black sesame glutinous rice ball suits the cold rainy day and warm my body. Feels so good!

TRAOKA DURIAN SNOW ICE RM12.80
I think this is the durian lovers favourite dessert because it taste so good and you won't feel disgust with the smeel of the durian because it makes the texture very smooth and nice.

BROWNIES WITH VANILLA ICE-CREAM RM10.80
Sweet chocolate and eat with the vanilla ice-cream is the perfect match.

After having our tea-time, we also headed home...That's all for today. Have a nice day.

Eating with love at Pasta Zanmai @ Gurney Paragon Mall

Hello guys...back to blogging now.. Last Saturday, I have a late lunch date with my special one. I waited him to come and fetch me then we headed to Gurney Paragon Mall to fulfill our cravings for Japanese food. Pasta Zanmai is a Japanese casual pasta restaurant that started from Kuala Lumpur. They have total of 8 branches now in Malaysia. Besides Pasta Zanmai, they also have another two restaurants that opened by the same company which are Shushi Zanmai and Raku Zen. Three of the restaurants serve nice and delicious Japanese food. And now, I would like to share with you what have I tasted at Sushi Zanmai that day. We ordered a few dishes as just only two of us and we really enjoyed the food so much.

Too bad I forgotten the name of this dish.. Is a chef recommended one.. it is a sliced beef wrapped with enoki mushroom and the sauce is Japanese terriyaki sauce. You could just eat it in one big bite and you would feel the taste and sweetness of the beef blend with the mushroom. Very delicious!

A big bowl of pasta with fried shrimp with lettuce and you need to add in the sesame powder and squeeze the lemon so that you could taste the mouthwatering pasta. The lemon will stimulate the taste so that you won't feel unctuous of the dish.  

I like this dessert the most as I love chocolate ice-cream and this is a banana with corn-flakes inside. I really forgot the name but I highly recommend you should go and try.. is superb nice and may enlighten your mood of the day. It cost RM16.  

This is the one that I ordered, I forgot the name of this dish but I know it contains creamy mushroom sauce, different kinds of mushrooms added in it, an half-boiled egg, when you mixed it all together, the taste is like creamy and full of mushroom taste. Is suitable for vegetarian friends to eat.

What a cold day! Raining non stop... Late to say HI!! to October.. I do wish this month is a full of memories month... I am going to end my foundation soon...preparing to have my last semester exam then I can have a good holiday with my friends and my family.

Yesterday, a usual Friday for me, but I had a lot of fun with my precious and love ones...In everyone's life there will be a bunch of friends that will always be there for you, joking and crazy around with you.. Actually we were planning to go Pasar Malam at Jelutong... Pasar Malam in English means night market..there were a lot of things to see and buy in a very cheap price..and also nice food stall too... but too bad.. the rain didn't stop at all.. so we decided to go PIK NIK.

PIK NIK is quite a famous place where people can go there to have a good chat and gathering with their friends and family. They serve delicious food and drinks too.. we have ordered their famous food too.. will introduce later.. XD... We had a great chit chat and we played Truth or Dare.. although just only 4 of us but we still enjoy ourselves. The atmosphere of the place is comfortable and the tables and chairs are decorated in a unique way. Their menu is also very special too... simple and nice... I love simple things..it makes me feel so comfortable and ease... Their walls are decorated with nice drawings and is very artistic.. love the aroma of the place.. I strongly recommend to all of you to have a visit.. Actually I went there a lot of times..but I never get bored going there... XP
